You can create fields that are hidden from the signup and profile modals, and can only be updated by admins in the Memberstack dashboard.
You can use hidden fields to:
Prevent users from editing specific data entered only during a signup or onboarding process
Hide specific custom fields in the profile modal
Collect information during signup that only a site admin can change (like a CRM)
As an admin, you can still use other Memberstack features associated with the hidden field.
Step 1 → Navigate to your Signup and Login page.
Step 2 → Click on the specific custom field you want to hide.
Step 3 → Toggle the Hide from profile setting. Click anywhere to save.

I'm helping an organization build a digital card using memberstack data. They want to show the signup date and expiration date after member signs in.
The expiration date is not on the list of membership attributes. Support says that it is not supported currently.
The team decided to manually populate a field with expiration date for the time being.
When we create the field this way it makes it accessible to members to modify the date.
That obviously is not what is wanted so I hide the field which allows the admins to modify it at their discretion
yet still keep the field visible in the design which is what is wanted.
Moving forward I'll look for a way to auto-populate this field to avoid errors and show accuracy to the members based on time-stamped payment dates.
Perhaps stripe api?
